The mission of Puddie's Place is to provide compassionate, accessible, and high-quality supports that empower individuals with disabilities and their families. Guided by the principles of the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), we promote health, safety, choice, and inclusion while fostering independence, advocacy, and lifelong growth.

Meet the Owner

Dr. Montaire Taylor is a dedicated professional school counselor and licensed social worker with 26 years of experience serving students, families, and school communities. His work is grounded in a student-centered philosophy that honors the whole person—academically, socially, and emotionally. Dr. Taylor believes that education is most powerful when it embraces a collaborative, two-way approach, where students feel empowered to grow and are supported in every aspect of their development.

Throughout his career, Dr. Taylor has been committed to creating environments where students feel seen, heard, and valued. He champions the importance of being a consistent safe space for students and clients—one where trust, authenticity, and compassion guide every interaction. His leadership, expertise, and unwavering dedication continue to shape positive school climates and strengthen the well-being of the communities he serves.
